Summary

Fragments of a banked field system are visible earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of Home Farm, Lower Blandford St Mary. The bank features cover an area of 25ha and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. The features predate the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway; they are of uncertain date, possibly medieval or post medieval in origin.

Fragments of a banked field system are visible earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of Home Farm, Lower Blandford St Mary [1].
