Summary

An extensive system of post medieval drainage ditches is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery along the north/northeast bank of the River Stour between France Farm, Stourpaine and Nutford Farm, Pimperne. The features cover an area of over 30 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

An extensive system of post medieval drainage ditches is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [1] along the north/northeast bank of the River Stour between France Farm, Stourpaine and Nutford Farm, Pimperne. The features cover an area of over 30 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
