Full Description
A group of structures and earthworks on the northwest side of Blandford Camp are visible on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features comprise two crescent-shaped concrete berms or walls with linear banks extending, that may enclose rhomboid shaped pits, each with crescent shapoed banked earthworks to the south of them. They are considered likely to be a firing range of possible Second World War date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
