Full Description
SU 01501628. Crop-mark of small, square, single-ditched enclosure. (lies within Handley Hill Group of barrows). <1>
Has been sited to SU 0150 1628. However, the cropmark in question is almost certainly the square ditch surrounding round barrow SU 01 NW 28, located at SU 0149 1626.
[Note: SU 01 NW 28 is MDO6335; the NRHE description of which already accounts for the possible presence of a surrounding square enclosure ditch. It is therefore unclear without access to the photos in question or a fuller description whether the same square ditch has been recorded twice or if there are actually 2 of them].
