Full Description
A partial sub-circular fenced enclosure on the north side of Blandford Camp is visible on 1940s aerial photographs [1-3].
The feature comprises a 123m by 75m oval enclosure open on its south side. Within the enclosure are curvilinear earthworks that may be practice trenches, used for military training. The enclosure itself may be a Second World War barbed wire entanglement, possibly used for military training. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
