Full Description
The earthworks of one complete and one incomplete circular platforms can be seen within a pasture field on aerial photographs taken in 2005. These platforms were constructed to create level areas on gently sloping ground north west of Woodyates. The largest circle is approximately 116m across and is centred on SU 0267 1983. The circle to the north west is approximately 110m and is centred on SU 0256 1993. The incomplete example is to the south west at SU 0258 1976. The reminder is likely to have been ploughed away. Associated with these are the remains of three structures. These are thought to be the remains of a Second World War radar station. <1-2>
