Full Description
Linear banked features are visible as earthworks on the west side of Tarrant Monkton on 1940s aerial photographs s and current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The features may be historic field boundaries of medieval to post medieval date, although a later origin is also possible - allotments are recorded here on the OS 2nd Edition map, although no boundaries shown [3]. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
