Full Description
Three subcircular hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the southeast of Hedge End Cottages, Winterborne Strickland [1]. They are between 15m and 35m across and are associated with spoilheaps. The features are likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
