Two subcircular extractive pits are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in a field to the northwest of Field Grove, Turnworth [1]. They are 19-22m across and likely to be post medieval chalk pits, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
