Full Description
Over 35 extractive pits are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery under trees within Field Grove, Durweston and Winterborne Stickland [1]. They are likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
