An unannotated hollow is marked on the Ordnance Survey 5th edition map to the west of Traveller's Rest, Durweston; it is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval chalk pit. The hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

An unannotated hollow is marked on the Ordnance Survey 5th edition map to the west of Traveller's Rest, Durweston [1]; it is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval chalk pit. The hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
