Summary

Five extractive pits are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the south of Amy's Clump, Durweston. The features are between 7m and 23m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They are located to the north of the quarry described in MDO3773 and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Five extractive pits are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the south of Amy's Clump, Durweston [1]. The features are between 7m and 23m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They are located to the north of the quarry described in MDO3773 and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
