Full Description
Four extractive pits are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within the arable field immediately northeast of Amy's Clump, Durweston [1]. The features are between 14m and 30m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
