Four extractive pits are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within the arable field immediately northeast of Amy's Clump, Durweston. The features are between 14m and 30m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Four extractive pits are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within the arable field immediately northeast of Amy's Clump, Durweston [1]. The features are between 14m and 30m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
