Full Description
Two extractive pits are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within the arable field immediately west of Folly Clump, Durweston [1]. The features are between 9m and 12m across and are considered to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
