Full Description
A scatter of 8 extractive pits is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [1] within, and in close proximity to, The Plantation to the east of Shepherd's Corner Farm, Durweston. The features are between 8m and 15m across and considered to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
