A scatter of 16 extractive pits is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in two fields to the north of Shepherd's Corner Farm, Durweston. The features are between 7m and 27m across and considered to be post medieval chalk pits; they are in the vicinity of MDO26063 and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

A scatter of 16 extractive pits is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in two fields to the north of Shepherd's Corner Farm, Durweston [1]. The features are between 7m and 27m across and considered to be post medieval chalk pits; they are in the vicinity of MDO26063 and they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
