Full Description
An unannotated hollow is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map to the east of Broadley Plantation, Winterbourne Strickland [1]; it is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval chalk pit. The hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [2] and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
