Full Description

(Centred ST 474045) A Medieval road from Beaminster (ST 4801) to South Perrott (ST 4706) still survives throughout, at least as a footpath. Its route led north through Newtown, over Buckham Down by the head-waters of the Axe to Picket Farm and Picket Lane. <1>
