Full Description
An extensive prehistoric field system is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Enford Bottom, Durweston [1]. The system covers an area of 70 hectares located in a promontory bounded by two dry valleys, and runs from Folly Barn eastward into Norton Wood. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project and are part of a wider field system which extends into MDO4493 to the south and MDO44666 and MDO4682 to the north and east.
