Summary

Fragments of a banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery under trees within Hillcombe Coppice. The features are located between the two combes at the southwest end of Enford Bottom and are likely to be an extension of the field systems described in MDO44666 and MDO44691. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.

Full Description

Fragments of a banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery under trees within Hillcombe Coppice. The features cover an area of 14 hectares and are located between the two combes at the southwest end of Enford Bottom. The features are likely to be an extension of the field systems described in MDO44666 and MDO44691 and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
