Full Description
Fragments of three parallel banked linears are visible as very low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the south of Blandford Forest, Durweston [1]. The features are of uncertain date and may be an extension of the later prehistoric field system described in MDO44666, or the remains of later medieval strip fields. The features cover an area of 1.8 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
