Full Description

The stables of Seaborough Court, 250yards SW of the church, were outbuildings of the old house now pulled down, and were built probably in the 17th century, although much altered. There are a
number of original two-light stone-mullioned windows and others with stone architraves of circa 1700. The doorways have lintels with key-blocks of 18th century date. <2>

The site of the old house is now occupied by ornamental gardens and there is no trace of buildings, although the position given by Authority 1 was confirmed by Miss Newgess.

No dating for the old house was established, although it may have been contemporary with the 17th century outbuildings described by Authority 2. These are now used as cattle houses. The present Seaborough Court is of late 19th century design. <3>
