Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was recorded as being around 50 feet in diameter with a mound about 5½ feet high, with traces of a surrounding ditch.

Full Description

Impenetrable. Dense vegetation. 1954. <2>

This site is situated in a wood with dense bramble and nettle growth. Attempts to find and measure the mound were unsuccessful. <3>

A tree covered bowl barrow with a diameter of 16.0m. and a height of 1.3m. with possible traces of an intermittent and unsurveyable ditch. The centre of the mound has been gutted and pulled out to the NE leaving a central hollow 6.5m. diameter and 1.5m. deep. <4>
