Full Description

Manor Farmhouse is a two-storeyed building with ashlar walls and slate roofs. It is partly 17th century, and retains some original stone-mullioned windows in the south front. The NW wing and the staircase are 18th century. <2-3>

Manor Farm (name confirmed by tenant) is as described above. No information was obtained during field investigation regarding the building having been originally a manor house. <4>

'The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys. The walls are of stone and the roofs are thatched. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams. … (5) Manor Farm, house 250 yards N.W. of the church, has slate-covered roofs. The N.W. wing and the staircase date from the 18th century. The S. front retains its original stone-mullioned windows.'
