Summary

The site comprises an early 19th century house with a mill attached to the end and two separate workshops. The house is of 3 storeys, with 3 bays and has a 2 storey extension. Built of rubble stone. The mill is of two bays, the overshot iron wheel and wooden / iron machinery is still in situ. The wheel projects through a door in the front elevation and there is an angled buttress to the front elevation. There is a 2 storeyed workshop attached to the corner of the mill, it is of approximately three bays with central taking-in doors and long multi-light windows. A similar second detached workshop in the yard has long windows, which replace earlier blocked windows, and has an extension with a weatherboarded end wall. There is also one other possible workshop in the modified detached privy block.
