Summary

A ditched linear trackway of probable Iron Age to Roman date is visible as cropmarks to the east of Blandford Camp, Tarrant Monkton, on aerial photographs. The trackway is aligned largely southeast to northwest and feeds into an area of probable Iron Age to Roman settlement (MDO5105) from the southeast. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

A ditched linear trackway of probable Iron Age to Roman date is visible as cropmarks to the east of Blandford Camp, Tarrant Monkton, on aerial photographs [1, 2]. The trackway runs for almost 500m and is aligned largely southeast to northwest and feeds into an area of probable Iron Age to Roman settlement (MDO5105) from the southeast. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
