Full Description
A crescent-shaped 18.8m long segment of a possible ring ditch is visible as a cropmark to the west of Pimperne on an undated aerial photograph [1]. The feature is located within a group of Bronze Age round barrows at this location (MDOs 4569-4577), just southwest of a furtther possible barrow, MDO44536, and may be an additional barrow associated with this barrow group, also recorded under NRHE Hob UID 209320. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
