Full Description
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is recorded as cropmarks on 2015 Historic England oblique aerial photographs. It is visible as a ring ditch with a diameter of about 15m. It is also recorded on 2009 Google Earth vertical aerial photographs. It is centred at ST 9003 0672. <1-2>
A sub-circular ring ditch is visible as a cropmark to the north of Langton Long Blandford on aerial photographs <3-4>. The feature is just under 19m in diameter, the ditch being just under 1.5m wide. It is considered likely to be the outer ditch of a Bronze Age bowl barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
