Full Description
Cropmark of part of a subrectangular enclosure seen at ST 5975 1208 at the edge of a modern field near Beer Hackett. The enclosure measures c.20m across, the southern side abutting the field boundary so it is not possible to tell from the aerial photographs how far the site extends. There is an externally attached ditch on the western side which disappears at the perpendicular field boundary suggests a second attached enclosure. The 1st edition OS map shows these features as former field boundaries which have since been removed. <1>
