Full Description
Very low, flat round barrow, spreading cultivation north of Ninety Eight [sic] plantation, Eastbury Park. <1>
No trace of a barrow was found in the area indicated. The area is partly under the plough and partly grass covered. <2>
Note: The barrow is actually north of the Ninety Nine Plantation and east of the Ninety Eight Plantation. It is therefore not clear if this has any implications for the siting of the monument or the fact that it could not be seen in 1954.
