Summary

A dispersed group of bank and ditched field boundaries is visible as cromarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs on the slopes of the hill between Keyneston Dairy House and All Saint's Church, Tarrant Keynesham. They form part of a field system of prehistoric or medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description

A dispersed group of bank and ditched field boundaries is visible as cromarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs on the slopes of the hill between Keyneston Dairy House and All Saint's Church, Tarrant Keynesham [1-4]. They form part of a field system of prehistoric or medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. The features cover an area of over 24 hectares, ome are still visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery [5].
