A quarry is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map [1] immediately to the south of the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway halt, Spetisburyl. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [2] and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
