Summary

A sub-circular ring-ditch is visible as a cropmark in a field to the northeast of Tarrant Rawston on an aerial photograph dated 1995. The feature may be the outer ditch to a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

A sub-circular mound is visible as a low earthwork in a field to the northwest of Tarrant Rawston on aerial photographs and current lidar imagery [1, 2]. The feature measures approximately 24m in diameter and may be a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
