Summary

A system of perpendicular banked field boundaries is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in two fields to the east of Ellen's Coppice, Tarrant Crawford. The boundaries do not align with modern field system and are therefore considered to be medieval or earlier in date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

A system of perpendicular banked field boundaries is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [1] in two fields to the east of Ellen's Coppice, Tarrant Crawford. The boundaries do not align with modern field system and are therefore considered to be medieval or earlier in date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
