Summary

Two parallel curvilinear ditched features are visible as cropmarks in a field to the northwest of Tarrant Rawston on an aerial photograph dated 1976. The features may represent sections of a curvilinear enclosure, or possibly part of an outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Two parallel curvilinear ditched features are visible as cropmarks in a field to the northwest of Tarrant Rawston on an aerial photograph dated 1976 [1]. The features may represent sections of a curvilinear enclosure that complete would measure approximately 20.5m in diameter. They may represent an outer ditch of a Bronze Age round barrow. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
