Bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 [1] to the northwest of Shapwick village. They are considered to be of medieval or post medieval date and are still extant [2]. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
