Full Description
A system of elongated parallel fields is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the northern corner of Charlton Marshall adjacent to the River Stour [1]. Some of the bank and ditched field boundaries are marked on the Ordnanace Survey 1st edition map [2]. It is considered to be the remains of a medieval system of strip fields and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project
