Full Description
A chalk pit is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map[1] to the south of the Sheep Wash, Shapwick. It is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery [2-3] and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
