Full Description
A large hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery [1] between the River Winterbourne and the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway immediately west of Sturminster Marshall. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project and considered to be a post medieval chalk pit or quarry.
