Full Description
The probable sites of three post medieval chalk pits are visible as low earthwork hollows on aerial photographs and lidar imagery immediately to the west of Big Almer Wood, Sturminster Marshall [1-2]. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
