The probable site of a post medieval chalk pit is visible as a low earthwork hollow on aerial photographs and lidar imagery [1-2] to the north of the stretch of Roman Road MDO44174, Sturminster Marshall. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
