A scatter of post medieval chalk pits are visible as low earthwork hollows on aerial photographs and lidar imagery [1-2] to the north east of Little Almer Wood, Sturminster Marshall. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
