Four hollows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1976 to the west of the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway, Spetisbury (1). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project and considered to be post medieval chalk pits.
