Fragments of a later prehistoric field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the northwest of Westley Wood, Sturminster Marshall. The irregular lynchets are cut by the Roman Road from Badbury Rings to Dorchester (MDO44174) and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
