Summary

A linear cropmark visible on aerial photographs interpreted as a late prehistoric field boundary. One end of the linear feature starts at the northern rampart of Weatherby Castle and runs north for 300m where it joins an existing field boundary.

'L1 runs north from the northern rampart of Weatherby Castle for a distance of 300m before merging with a modern field boundary. The feature appears to be a ditch and makes two “dog-leg” turns suggesting that the linear may be bounding a “Celtic” field system.'
