Full Description

A linear arrangement of parallel plough-levelled ditches is visible on aerial photographs dated 1976 [1]. The ditches are generally aligned east west although there apears to be a complex junction at ST390808 102249 where some ditches diverge to the south and at ST39074 102261 where ditches diverge to the north . The ditches may be mutliphased trackways or linear boundaries and were digitally plotted from aerial photographs during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered to be later prehistoric and possibly contemporary with the field boundaries described in MDO44103 to the south.
