Summary

The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the northwest of Ram Lane, Shapwick. It is one of three potential barrow mounds to the east of the barrow described in MDO39429 was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description

Theprobable site of a plough-levelled mound 14m across is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the northwest of Ram Lane, Shapwick (1). It is one of three mounds to the east of the barrow described in MDO39429 and is potentially the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
