Full Description
A linear earthwork, 45m long, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1924 (1) on the northeast side of Badbury Rings running from the outer rampart to the Roman road (MDO43973). It comprises a central ditch flanked by two banks and is of uncertain date. It is possibly a post medieval field boundary but could potentially be much older. It has since been levelled and is no longer visible on Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project
