Full Description

EBA flint dagger (c. 5.2") found 1932 at Bonfire Hill. Now in Morley Hewitt collection, [Fordingbridge area centred at SU 12551295]. <1>

Mr Morley Hewitt plotted the site of the find on OS 6" without consulting any document or plan. <2>
[SU 12541278] is correct. The dagger is still in my possession. I cannot remember who gave it to me. <2.1>

The area is undisturbed heath and there were no surface finds during field investigations. <3>
