Summary

A short section of banked field boundary is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running roughly N-S to the south of Mill Lane, Shapwick. It appears to be overlain by the medieval or post medieval cultivation marks described in MDO44259 and is therefore likely to be of medieval or earlier date. The site was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

A short section of banked field boundary is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running roughly N-S to the south of Mill Lane, Shapwick <1>. It appears to be overlain by the medieval or post medieval cultivation marks described in MDO44259 and is therefore likely to be of medieval or earlier date. The site was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
